Workbook Information

Every student must have the state-approved Georgia Risk Reduction Program workbook before class begins.

  • Workbooks are purchased separately by the student
  • Order details and approved vendors are provided after registration
  • Have your workbook available for each live Zoom session
  • Bring completed sections to class as instructed by your instructor

Technology Requirements

A reliable setup keeps you focused and connected during every live session.

  • Desktop, laptop, tablet, or modern smartphone with a working camera
  • Stable high-speed internet connection
  • Working microphone and speakers or headphones
  • Zoom app installed and updated before your first class
  • Quiet, well-lit space with minimal distractions

Zoom Classroom Expectations

Our live Zoom classes are professional, interactive, and respectful learning environments.

  • Join on time and remain present for the full session
  • Keep your camera on during instruction unless instructed otherwise
  • Mute your microphone when not speaking
  • Participate respectfully in discussions and activities
  • Avoid eating, multitasking, or leaving the room for extended periods

Attendance Requirements

Georgia DDS requires full attendance and participation to complete the Risk Reduction Program.

  • All 20 program hours must be completed in full
  • Arrive on time and stay for the entire scheduled session
  • Missed time may require rescheduling or retaking the course
  • Active participation is required for certificate eligibility
  • Notify the office immediately if an emergency arises

Required Identification

Valid identification is required at the start of class to verify your enrollment.

  • Government-issued photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
  • ID must be current and clearly legible
  • Have your ID ready to show on camera during the first session
  • Name on ID must match your registration information

  • After your registration and payment are confirmed, you will receive a welcome email with your class schedule, Zoom link, and preparation checklist at least 24 hours before your first session.
